Welcome to the Invincible Marvel Games Report, bringing you all of the news you need to know about Marvel’s best games. This week, we talk about Mantis in Avengers Alliance, the Spider-Man event going on in Avengers Academy, and the new Spider-Man game revealed at E3 for PS4! Let’s get started, shall we?
The Black Vortex Arrives at Marvel’s Avengers Alliance
An ancient artifact known as the Black Vortex has come to earth, and has brought the characters Mantis, J’Son, and Moondragon with it! In this event, you can fight Spartax warriors and gunners, recruit Mantis and Moondragon, and pick up awesome new tech. For more information, check out the full interview with Tony Sherrill.
Peter Parker Gets Recruited to Avengers Academy
The biggest event in Avengers Academy history is here! The event is divided into two parts, with each very different. Part one, which is out right now, sees Spider-Man teaming up with Avengers Academy students to take on sinister threats, while Norman Osborn and J. Jonah Jameson open up rival facilities to compete with Avengers Academy. In this event, you can recruit Spider-Man, Spider-Ham, Black Cat, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and more! Insomniac’s New Spider-Man Game
At E3 this week, Sony unveiled their new Spider-Man game! Though there is little information at this time, the trailer looks AMAZING. The game will take place in it’s own separate universe, not part of the MCU or an adaption of a film. It will also feature an experienced Spider-Man, with an all new costume.
